What to Expect

Your appointment is set. Apprehensive because you don't know what to expect? Don't fret.

First of all, arrive on time. If you are late, your service may be shortened.

Expect to fill out some forms. Name, date, allergies, signature, etc. Everything is held in the strictest of confidence. No need to fib on this stuff.

You'll be walked back to the Wax Bar, have a brief consultation, ask questions and give answers.

Still with me?

If you're scheduled for Intimate Waxing, this is the time I will step out for a few minutes while you disrobe (but those who aren't shy will just strip down and hop up on the table in front of me). A towel will be provided for your privacy and sanitary personal wipes if it's been a long day.

I'll wash my hands in the sink. (Some things just have to be stated.)

The area being waxed will be cleaned and prepped.

Warm wax (never hot) will be applied and removed. Depending on the area being waxed, the wax will be strip wax or hard wax.

If the skin is red after waxing, a soothing product(s) will be put on the skin to calm it. Any bumps and pinking of the skin should disappear within 6-8 hours. Everyone's different so don't freak out if it takes a bit longer. This type of skin reaction is normal and indicates that the hair was removed from the root rather than being superficially broken off, as in shaving. This is the reason that professional waxing last so much longer.

That's it. We're done.

I'll step out for you to dress and you'll meet me in the reception area to check out and schedule your next appointment.
